QA Engineer - TrustedQA : Job Details

TrustedQA is hiring a QA Analyst for the GCCS-J Program.RESPONSIBILITIES:The MA/QA Analyst will audit and monitor software development and maintenance processes and methods as well as review software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements, while identifying defects, issues, weaknesses and risks that would negatively impact program success. Will review software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability. Ensure project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract. The QA/MA Analyst will perform or direct verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability and ensure project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract. The QA/MA Analyst will extract, compile and analyze quality measurements to further promote process improvement and mission success.

What we are looking for:

• BS degree in English, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other relevant field
• No prior experience required, as this is an entry level position
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written communication
• Strong problem solving, communication and analytical skills
• Basic understanding of software design concepts and techniques
• Proficient ability to operate effectively in a hybrid remote environment
• Highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment with demanding internal and external deadlines

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with Quality/Performance Management programs, software QA Testing methodologies, tools, related techniques, and ability to document & implement.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile systems implementation methodologies.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher required.
• Security+ certification is a nice to have but not required. Obtaining a Security+ certification within first 90 days of employment is required.
• Ability to interact effectively across all levels and departments of the organization.
• Knowledge of CMMI for Development Level 3 certification requirements would be a plus.

Pay Range: The salary range for this role is $55,000 USD - $80,000 USD; however, TrustedQA considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
