Old Republic Home Protection seeks a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. Our team is passionate about embracing our core values, one of which is innovation. We strive to deliver the best-in-class technology. We prefer a candidate located in the Charlotte, NC, area, but we are open to candidates in other states. The candidate MUST reside in the United States.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong experience in writing automation scripts for Java REST APIs.
• Experience testing web-based UI applications, preferably built with React.
• Proficient in using Rest Assured for API test automation.
• Experience with WebdriverIO for UI test automation.
• Familiarity with test reporting tools (e.g., Allure).
• Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (JUnit, TestNG, Mocha, etc.).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, request/response validation, and JSON.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git and GitHub
• Exposure to CI/CD tools, particularly Azure Pipelines or similar
• Proficiency with IDEs such as Visual Studio Code and IntelliJ IDEA.
