• Located in Philadelphia, we are a private and profitable food processing company. We are currently hiring a full-time Quality Assurance Associate to join our team. The QA Associate will report directly to the Quality Manager and will be responsible for all facets of quality inspection and monitoring, as well as GMP, food safety, and quality enforcement. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, organized, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily quality inspections and maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Verify that incoming materials and finished products meet all required specifications.
• Monitor production processes and personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and proper protocols.
• Conduct routine audits, environmental sampling, and antimicrobial titrations; ensure all logs are current and accurate.
• Assist with external audits and prepare product samples for organoleptic evaluations.

Shift/Hours:

• 6am - 4pm Monday - Friday

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of QA or related experience; meat processing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, cold production environment.
• Employment is contingent upon passing an integrity test, background check, and drug screening.
