QA Analytical Technician - Warsaw, NC - Smithfield Foods : Job Details

The Quality Assurance Analytical Lab Technician coordinates the daily preparation of samples for analytical testing, performs analytical procedures and general laboratory sanitation. Core Responsibilities. Performs analytical procedures; such as NIR, AA, Protein Analyzer, etc. Performs basic preparation techniques for analytical testing. Ensures instruments are properly calibrated. Enters analytical results into computer. Maintains proper sanitation in laboratory. Splits and grinds samples for analytical testing. Performs tasks which generate grain and ingredients dust in enclosed areas. Performs chemical procedures. Follows all safety and laboratory policies. Responsible for complying with all environmental laws and procedures to which Murphy-Brown LLC subscribes. Responsible for understanding and complying with company EMS policies and procedures in the performance of their job duties. Reports all environmental issues immediately to their supervisor.
