We are seeking an experienced and passionate Python Developer with expertise in AI and Data Science to lead the development of advanced data-driven solutions. You will work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to design, implement, and optimize machine learning models and data pipelines that drive strategic decision-making.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Weehawken, NJ is $120k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable AI and data science solutions using Python.
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate prototypes into robust production code.
• Design and maintain data models, pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Implement machine learning algorithms and deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Optimize algorithms for performance and scalability.
• Conduct data analysis, visualization, and reporting to support insights and decision-making.
• Stay updated with the latest AI and Data Science trends and incorporate best practices into projects.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Python development for AI and Data Science projects.
• Strong programming skills with Python and proficiency in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods.
• Experience building and deploying scalable data pipelines and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Publications or contributions to open-source AI/Data Science projects.
