Our client is seeking a Python Data Engineer to join their high-performing global data team. This full-time role involves developing scalable data ingestion solutions and supporting advanced analytics for traders, analysts, and researchers.Key Responsibilities:

• Build reusable Python components to integrate external data sources with internal systems and databases.
• Collaborate closely with traders, data scientists, and analysts to gather and translate data requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Maintain a clean, modular Python codebase aligned with internal coding standards.
• Contribute to the firm's ETL toolkit and developer tools, helping to standardize core data engineering practices.
• Work effectively with a globally distributed team and participate in internal Python development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and modern data engineering practices.
• Experience building modular, reusable ETL pipelines and APIs.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical data workflows.
• Comfortable working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
• Experience supporting data-driven teams in trading, research, or analytics is a plus.

Compensation: $140,000 - 160,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
