Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

This position is responsible for sourcing high-quality products, managing vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining cost-effective purchasing practices. The ideal candidate will work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure timely availability of critical materials, compliance with healthcare regulations, and alignment with the practice's operational and patient care goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and complete cost/price analysis; recommend organizational savings opportunities through analyzing organizational spending.
- Request and review vendor quotes, lead supplier selection process, contract negotiations and maintain vendor management relationships.
- Research compatibility of products from different manufacturers to obtain the most cost-effective quality equipment or services.
- Manage supplier spend reporting process, creating meaningful and useful analysis that identifies major purchase categories, key potential partnerships, support product standardization, driving purchasing compliance and responsible for overseeing medical supply inventory management system.
- Maintain contracts, modifications, renewals to original agreements, and keep required documentation.
- Work closely with vendors, key stakeholders, operations managers, accounts payable, revenue cycle, and legal counsel to execute business strategy and implement plans.
- Establish and maintain engaging relationships with senior leadership, operations management, and clinical specialists.
- Project Management in collaboration with the CFO.
Supervisory Responsibilities: As Assigned
Required Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's or higher degree required
- Minimum of 5 years' strategic sourcing and contracting experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to influence and impact organizational change
- Experience working with group purchasing organizations and other distributors of healthcare products and services
General Skill Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working with a Practice Management system
- Attendance and punctuality are essential to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to work independently and without direction
- Able to effectively and concisely communicate complex data and ideas
