$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Title: Purchasing Manager

Location: Remote OR NYC Based

Schedule: Remote or Hybrid in NYC office

Company Profile: A leading building materials/design organization is looking to add a Purchasing Manager to their team. This person will play a critical role in the Procurement division, and will be responsible for driving sourcing strategies, optimizing the end-to-end supply chain, and cultivating strong supplier partnerships. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments as well as demonstrates exceptional analytical and negotiation skills.

The Purchasing Manager will Be Responsible For the Following:

• Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with global vendors and factories
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize value while ensuring quality and compliance
• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, including production timelines, international logistics, customs clearance, and warehouse delivery
• Place and manage purchase orders, and adjust flow as needed based on real-time business needs
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with import/export regulations and internal controls
• Identify and pursue new sourcing opportunities that align with the company's strategic objective

The Purchasing Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, or product management roles
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively, manage complexity, and deliver under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with international sourcing, freight logistics, and vendor compliance
• Master's Degree preferred
