House Buyers of America is seeking a Purchasing Manager responsible for bidding, managing, and negotiating all contracts for home renovations. This role involves overseeing all purchasing aspects, including developing detailed scopes of work and recruiting contractors/vendors. It is a 100% remote position.

What you will do:
  • Bid out and manage all contracts, submit invoices, track project budgets, and collaborate with Field Managers to ensure contractor performance.
  • Negotiate costs to achieve the lowest possible prices and source innovative products to reduce costs and enhance renovation quality and aesthetics.
  • Partner with senior management to determine specifications.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work and budgets for each project.
  • Manage, train, and terminate General Contractors and subcontractors as needed.
  • Recruit new contractors and vendors through networking and cold calls, ensuring registration before job commencement.
    • About you:
  • 5+ years of purchasing experience with a major home builder and remodeling company.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • Some Spanish language skills are a plus.
