This is an onsite role in Farmers Branch, TX, Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm

This person should be a highly skilled professional who can lead a team, pay attention to details, work effectively with various organizational levels, and help strategize our long-term business plans. We're looking for a leader to improve processes, grow market share, and enjoy learning and training others.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create daily purchases of inventory based on demand to prevent back orders.
- Maintain and adjust lead times of inventory from suppliers to ensure timely delivery of replenishment stock.
- Research and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, and reputation.
- Contribute to product meetings.
- Respond to changing conditions in product supply, market trends, and pricing.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for advantageous terms.
- Resolve pricing, receipt, and other variances from suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers and problem-solve situations.
- Build and share weekly reports to track current status and future challenges.
- Source new products and vendors, integrating them effectively to add value.
- Analyze inventory data to reset parameters like lead time and min/max levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Procurement Certifications
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency in ERP and inventory management software
- Experience with industrial MRO products
- Detail-oriented with accuracy and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations
- Experience with blanket purchase orders
- Effective negotiation, persuasion, and strategizing skills
