Job Location : Madison,AL, USA
Responsible for corporate-wide compliance with all international customs and commerce laws.
Consolidate the logistic operations of mdGroup's and GeoCue Group's products within North America.
Take, place, and track orders for raw materials and equipment for North American operations.
Proactively liaise between suppliers and staff to resolve purchasing supply issues, ensuring an accurate and timely provision of supplies.
Accurately maintain the company's databases to ensure they are up-to-date and meet the company's high standards.
Negotiate with suppliers and carriers to obtain the best deals for individual products or longer-term discount agreements.
Strategically plan and manage logistics and transportation for all North American operations.
Keep track of stock levels, delivery times, transportation costs, and efficiency.
Resolve any arising problems with shipments.
Prepare all shipping documentation, including Carnets, Certificates of Origin, and Export Permits.
Arrange and prepare documentation for dangerous goods shipments.
Manage accounts with Canutec, ICC compliance, and Transport Canada dangerous goods inspections.
Run background compliance screening checks for every new customer.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
Experience: 2 years of experience in a logistics coordinator/lead position, including working knowledge of shipping documentation preparation, negotiating contracts, and managing logistics and transportation.
Experience can be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
