Purchasing Coordinator - Akebono Brake Corporation : Job Details

Supports the preparation and procurement of authorized products from approved vendors. Additionally, the Purchasing Coordinator oversees the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of indirect purchasing activities for the manufacturing facility. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities. Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:Ensure purchase order accuracy & supports MRO purchases. Maintenance of crib inventory in QAD system, hands on crib inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Research and review potential new suppliers. Place orders for manufacturing facility using credit cards, blanket purchase orders, and spot buys. Enter requisitions in the system as needed in a support role. Maintain and coordinate facility office supplies. Perform other duties as assigned.
