Qualifications:

• Organized: Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with inventory management software, spreadsheets, and analytics tools.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Comfortable with numbers, pricing calculations, and market analysis.
• In-Person Role: This position requires daily presence at our headquarters in Elkridge, Maryland.

Experience:

• Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management in the foodservice industry.

Skills:

• Inventory Management: Replenish inventory and maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
• Market Expertise: Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and availability of fresh poultry and seafood.
• Supplier Relations: Negotiate supplier programs, build strong vendor relationships, and secure the best possible terms.
• Source, Evaluate and Purchase products.
• Responsible for reviewing purchase orders and timely deliveries.
• Work with suppliers to resolve product and service related issues.
• RFP Execution: Develop and execute Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to evaluate and select suppliers.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze purchasing trends and sales data to make informed procurement decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align purchasing strategies with company goals.

Compensation:

$70,000/year
