Facility in Atlantic City, NJ seeking Critical Care locums coverageRates: $300/hrPosition OverviewThis facility is seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician to provide locum tenens coverage due to understaffing. This role involves managing critically ill patients in a multidisciplinary ICU with a focus on medical and neurocritical care.Schedule & Coverage Details

• Dates: ASAP until permanent staffing is achieved
• Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
• Patient Volume:
• Average ICU patients per day: 9
• Average admissions per day: 3
• Unit Details:
• 26 ICU beds shared with the trauma team (no cap)
• Trauma Level II designation
• Team Composition:
• 7 critical care physicians
• Additional APPs available

Responsibilities

• Procedures Required:
• Invasive ventilation management (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy)
• Central line insertion
• Arterial line insertion
• ICP evaluation and management
• Management of acute volume/BP issues
• Documentation System: Cerner/Oracle
• No supervision of other healthcare providers required
• No involvement in teaching services (residents/fellows)

Credentialing Information

• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

Requirements

• Board Certification: Critical Care Medicine (REQUIRED)
• Licensure: Active New Jersey medical license (REQUIRED)
• Certifications:
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• Background: Clean background preferred
• Local candidates ONLY.Facility will only cover mileage.
