Job Summary

The PubSec Microsoft Digital Innovation Group (MDIG) focuses on pre-sales consultative guidance, emphasizing value, customer-first approach, and discovery of service and sales opportunities across the Microsoft technology stack for government, healthcare, and academic sectors.

The PubSec Microsoft Solutions Consultant (MSC) supports pre-sales activities related to Microsoft's security, governance, and compliance solutions, primarily for education, government, and healthcare clients. The role involves engaging with customers, Microsoft partners, and internal teams to promote the adoption and effective use of Microsoft solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with Microsoft Customer Technical Specialists.
  • Identify market gaps and opportunities to enhance customer value.
  • Conduct internal training on Microsoft technologies.
  • Collaborate with support resources for customer communication.
  • Consult with customers on Microsoft products, implementation, and adoption strategies.
  • Recommend third-party solutions when appropriate.
  • Develop demos supporting Microsoft use cases.
  • Lead pre-sales engagements focused on security and data governance.
  • Achieve necessary Microsoft certifications.
  • Maintain opportunity tracking within internal tools.

  • Public Sector experience and MCI Partner-led engagement history.
  • Azure security expertise and cyber solutions knowledge.
Certifications

Must obtain one of the following within 180 days of hire:

  • Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

The annual pay range is $100,000 - $175,000 plus benefits. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more.
