Your day to day as a PUBLIC WORKS ROAD WORKERAs a Public Works Road Worker at Ferguson Township, you will be an integral part of a road crew, supporting the Township's infrastructure and public safety. Your responsibilities will include maintaining streets, roads, drainage systems, and equipment to ensure they are safe and functional for residents. You'll operate heavy equipment and perform a variety of road repair and maintenance tasks in the field. Your work will directly impact the safety and efficiency of our community's infrastructure. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled and dedicated team while contributing to the Township's commitment to service, reliability, and operational excellence.
What we're looking for in a PUBLIC WORKS ROAD WORKERTo succeed as a Public Works Road Worker at Ferguson Township, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver's License (Class B minimum). You'll need hands-on experience or proficiency with road maintenance and construction tools and equipment.
