Job Location : Aspen,CO, USA
Supports critical Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) systems at a 911 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and partner agencies. Responsible for ensuring the reliability of systems such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Law Records Management System (LRMS), Fire Records Management System (FRMS), and related technologies. Provides application and desktop support , assists with network and cloud-basedservices, and contributes to the administration of public safety, Geographic Information System (GIS) and mapping
solutions in coordination with GIS staff to ensure system availability, data accuracy, and CJIS compliance.
Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a public safety or similar critical environment, with significant experience in PC Windows/desktop support, Business Networking's, and Active Directory environments..
Familiarity with public safety systems such as CAD, LRMS, FRMS, Public Safety maps, and mobile corrections platforms required.
Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Windows desktop environments.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) preferred.
Experience with GIS in a public safety context, including working knowledge of NG911 GIS data models such as NENA NG911 GIS Data Model).
Experience with ESRI ARC GIS and public Safety Mapping preferred.
GIS tools such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online preferred.
Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library ( ITIL) frameworks and public safety IT best practices preferred.
