- Responsible for the oversite of posting approved digital content to the website using the content management system (Drupal).
- Giving direction to data entry processors. Candidates will need to apply style guidelines to produce high-quality and accurate work in accordance with NYSDOT's and NYS's policies and strategies for digital communications.
Minimum qualifications:
- Four years of experience in public relations and digital communications or a bachelor's degree or master's degree/ in: Communications, English, Public Relations, Digital Communications
*Substitutions: An associates degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Preferred Qualifications:
- A collaborative team player.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong visual and design skills, with expertise in formatting and layout principles.
- Skilled in using web content management systems (CMS), ideally Drupal.
Misc. Information:
- Work Shift Hours: Typically, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Work Location: Free parking available on-site; accessible by public transportation.
