Psychologist - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign : Job Details

The Assistant Director of Mental Health will lead and coordinate the mental health unit at DRES which is responsible for providing individual therapy, support groups, and assessments in conjunction with other mental health staff to support disabled students who are registered with DRES. In addition, this position serves as the Training Director and coordinates the training and supervision the following groups: grad hourlies, practicum/internship for graduate students in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, and social work; position supervises pre-doctoral internships for school psychology interns through the ISPIC APA approved internship program, and post-doctoral students in counseling, clinical, or school psychology. The successful candidate will lead DRES's ongoing efforts to maintain the highest quality of mental health care resources for disabled students with very diverse backgrounds and identities.
