Role Description

This is a part-time (10 to 20 hours a week) remote role for a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). The PMHNP-BC will be responsible for providing mental health psychiatric care via a telehealth platform. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medication, providing medication management, and psychotherapy.

Qualifications

• Psychiatric Care and Mental Health Care expertise with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in psychiatry.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York
• DEA licensed
• The ability to prescribe medication
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning abilities
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in outpatient telepsychiatry is a plus
