PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER

ST. JOHNS, MI

Position Highlights:

• Part Time Position as Independent Contractor

• Adolescent case load, ages 12-17, 10 patients/day

• In-Patient Setting; General Mental Health

• Mon-Fri work schedule: mornings - 4 hours daily

• Duties include: follow-up on encounters & contact families; ordering medication, labs and following results; creating sign-out; attending treatment team meetings daily

Qualifications:

• Certification as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

• Graduation from accredited APRN training

• Michigan License or ability to obtain

• Provide own malpractice insurance

Work with a respected psychiatry practice, providing services at Cedar Creek Hospital, a 60 Bed, Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital, located in St. Johns, Michigan - less than 30 minutes from Lansing, and about 1 hour east of Grand Rapids.
