Location: New York, NYOnsite Flexibility: Onsite (Monday to Friday 7.50 am-4 pm and Alternating Saturdays)Contract Details:Position Type: ContractContract Duration: 5 monthsStart: 07/31/2025End: 12/31/2025Pay Rate: $17 - $20/hrJob Summary:The PSC Greeter is responsible for front office operations at a Patient Service Center. This includes greeting patients, assisting with kiosk sign-ins, handling customer inquiries, data entry, insurance processing, and maintaining HIPAA compliance. The role may support multiple locations and could be cross-trained to assist as a PSR I during high-volume periods.Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet all customers courteously and appropriately.
  • Assist patients with kiosk sign-in and ensure accuracy.
  • Contact clients to obtain patient orders.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints per protocol.
  • Comply with all department policies and manuals (Safety, Compliance, QA, etc.).
  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, mail preparation, and data entry.
  • Demonstrate commitment to organizational values.
  • Maintain punctual attendance as per guidelines.
  • Answer phones using company-approved greetings and professionalism.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance using appropriate tools and procedures.
  • Complete all required training.
  • Assist with stocking and ordering office supplies.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned by supervisors.
Required Experience:
  • 1 year of customer service experience
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Prior keyboard/data entry and PC experience
  • Exposure to medical terminology (helpful, not required)
Required Skills:
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • Strong verbal communication
  • High-volume multitasking
Preferred Skills:
  • Clerical accuracy and organization
  • Patient-facing professionalism
  • Flexibility with staffing demands (weekends, holidays, overtime)
  • Independent decision-making within guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Prolonged standing/sitting
  • Ability to lift/carry (up to 25 lbs / 15 lbs respectively)
  • Physical mobility (bending, kneeling, reaching, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
