Job Overview

The Contract Management Specialist supports the Contract Management Department by handling contract administration activities. This includes operationalizing agreements, collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring process and data integrity, and enhancing processes and procedures.

Assignment Details

• Short-term assignment, 6-12 months, with potential to convert to a full-time position.

Core Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Select appropriate contract templates, amendments, BAAs, and NDAs for external parties.
• Review, redline, and draft contracts using approved templates or external documents.
• Track and control versions of agreement redlines.
• Support negotiations and ensure proper documentation and processes.
• Manage electronic contract signing processes.
• Enter proposals, contracts, and rates into organizational databases timely.
• Assist with provider contract rate analysis using internal systems.
• Maintain data integrity in internal databases regarding service lines and rate increases.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of payors and providers.
• Manage contract termination processes.
• Consult legal counsel on contractual terms as needed, with managerial approval.
• Meet deadlines and communicate contractual issues proactively.
• Distribute contract notifications internally and externally.
• Develop SOPs and job aids for administrative functions.
• Ensure adherence to Catalight policies, procedures, and applicable laws such as HIPAA.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of health plan or provider network contract management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Commitment to organizational values, good judgment, flexibility, patience, and discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Effective communication, reading, and writing skills in English.
• Ability to work with clients and staff using visual and auditory skills.
• Frequent speaking and listening tasks.
• Proficiency in virtual meeting software.
• Ability to obtain necessary clearances and attend training.

Employment Details

• Full-time position.
• Salary range: $87,000 - $118,000 annually.
