Prototype Order Specialist - Johnson Matthey, plc : Job Details

Respond to customer requests for prototype samples and collaborate with the Sales team to prepare and deliver quotes. Initiate the sample request process upon receipt of a purchase order, ensuring all required information is gathered and documented. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Applications, Process Development, Sales, PPM, DSG/ Ps. G, Customer Service) to complete the sample request form accurately and on time. Work with Customer Service to ensure timely and accurate order entry into SAP. Maintain regular communication with internal samples groups to provide customer status updates and scheduled calls during the manufacturing process. Monitor order progress and proactively address any issues or delays to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements for the role:B. S Degree in Science, Engineering or related fields. Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment- Desired.
