Job Title: Propulsion Test EngineerJob Description
We are seeking dedicated Propulsion Test Engineers to join our team at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This role involves performing test engineering activities on spacecraft propulsion systems to achieve test verification and vehicle production objectives.
Responsibilities
Author and execute detailed operating procedures on spacecraft propulsion systems.
Conduct hypergolic propellant servicing.
Develop and execute steps for component removal, replacement, and re-test on systems containing hypergolic propellants.
Perform leak testing of spacecraft propulsion systems.
Lead technicians, QA team members, and other test engineers in executing testing.
Essential Skills
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Experience in loading hypergolic propellants or performing test-related operations on hypergolic contaminated propellant systems.
Experience in leak checking spacecraft fluid systems.
Experience in developing procedures for leak checking and performing functional testing of spacecraft hypergolic propellant systems.
Experience operating high-pressure pneumatic equipment to pressurize flight hardware.
Strong troubleshooting capabilities to document and resolve non-conformances on ground support equipment and flight hardware.
5 years of propulsion-related fluids test engineering experience on spacecraft.
Willingness to work overtime and off-shift operations, including 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Current Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Leak Test certification.
Current SCAPE/SAR certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
