One of our clients in Virginia is seeking a Proposal Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of Proposal Management and Proposal creation. Within this role, you will work closely with Business Development and Operations for the creation of compliant and compelling proposals.

• Position: Proposal Manager
• Location: Remote (Local to DMV)

• Champions delivery of fully compliant proposals.
• Manages the overall proposal development process to meet internal and government milestones.
• Handles responses to RFI, RFP, RFQ, RWP, SSN, and Market Research.
• Leads color team reviews, storyboards, win theme development, and solutioning sessions based on the Shipley process.
• Reviews RFP requirements, creates outlines and compliance matrices.
• Collaborates with departments like HR, Recruiting, Finance, etc.
• Oversees final proposal production, including proofreading, editing, and packaging.
• Coordinates efforts with SMEs, subcontractors, teaming partners, and consultants.
• Assists in writing past performances, staffing plans, and executive summaries.
• Monitors proposal document status for completeness and compliance.
• Reports proposal status, monitors resources, and capacity.
• Suggests process improvements and maintains proposal repositories.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• At least five years of proposal management experience.
• Experience with government proposals (DOD, State, NIH) is a plus.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and desktop publishing skills.
• Attention to detail; include your favorite color in the application comments.
• Experience with procurement databases and regulations (e.g., SAM.gov, FAR/DFAR).
