Job Overview

The Proposal Coordinator role at MartinFed involves supporting the Proposal Director and Business Development Team by helping coordinate all aspects of proposal development. Key responsibilities include overseeing RFIs, managing proposal data collection and graphics, editing and producing proposals, organizing meetings, and working with technical authors to produce high-quality proposals. Essential Functions
  • Support the Proposal Director and Business Development Team by coordinating all aspects of proposal development and management.
  • Oversee RFIs and their submissions.
  • Manage proposal data collection and graphics.
  • Edit and produce proposals as requested.
  • Assist with proposal plans including themes, outlines, and compliance matrices.
  • Organize meetings and review teams for proposal efforts.
  • Work with technical authors to produce high-quality proposals.
  • Create, edit, and publish basic documents and templates.
  • Creating and supporting development of compelling external and internal written content.
  • Plan and coordinate meetings and events.
  • Ability to use internal and external technology tools to support research of business development and proposal opportunities.
  • Ability to manage calendars/schedules/meetings.
  • Proofreading and editing MartinFed materials.
  • Exceptional internal and external customer service orientation.
  • Flexibility to work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Qualifications
  • United States citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. A clearance is not required for start of employment.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Advanced skills or working knowledge of MS Office suite to include Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience.
  • Desire to expand your knowledge and develop a growing position in proposals and business development.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of proposal development lifecycle
  • Experience with proposals related to the DoD or U.S. government services.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • 3-5 years of experience with developing desktop publishing or proposal content
  • Experience considered in lieu of bachelor's degree in relevant field: English, Technical Writing, Communications, Marketing, Contracts, Business Administration or other relevant degree.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
  • Inside office environment.
  • The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying light items such as papers and books.
  • Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard and other office equipment.
  • The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
