Michael Best is seeking a Proposal Coordinator for our Waukesha, Chicago, Milwaukee, Denver or remote office.

What You'll Be Doing

Youll play a key role in developing compelling, client-focused materials that win business and elevate our brand. Your day-to-day will include:

• Support the creation of RFP responses, client presentations, and marketing collateral by identifying relevant content, editing for clarity and tone, and drafting new material when needed.
• Driving Process & Precision
• Help manage timelines and workflows for proposal development, ensuring deadlines are met and content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with firm strategy.
• Work closely with attorneys, subject-matter experts, and internal departments (like Research Services, HR, IT, and Finance) to gather insights and information.
• Keep our experience database and marketing content library fresh and relevant by writing new descriptions, updating bios, and organizing templates and visuals.
• Contributing to Strategy
• Assist in developing messaging themes and content strategies tailored to specific audiences and opportunities

What You Bring

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong writing and editing skillsclear, concise, and persuasive
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Basic understanding of generative AI tools
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities
• A collaborative attitude and a creative, proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with visual storytelling and design principles
• Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Smartsheet, or document automation tools
• Advanced knowledge of generative AI applications in content creation

For Colorado applicants only (as required by the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act): The annual compensation range for this position in our Denver office is between $50,000 and $65,000. Compensation is determined based on qualifications and experience. This position is considered full-time and is therefore eligible to participate in employer-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, as well as elective/voluntary life, disability, and accident coverage. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the firm's 401k plan.

For Illinois applicants only (as required by the Illinois Equal Pay Act): The annual compensation range for this position in our Chicago office is between $50,000 and $65,000. Compensation is determined based on qualifications and experience. This position is considered full-time and is therefore eligible to participate in employer-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, as well as elective/voluntary life, disability, and accident coverage. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the firm's 401k plan.
