- The pay rate for this position at hire is $32.98/hr ($68,600.00/yr). Current THA employees transferring into this position are placed in line with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

What You'll Do:
- Manage tenant relations and build community by addressing resident concerns, assisting or leading tenant meetings, and working with tenants to organize community activities.
- Verify annual income, family composition, eligibility, deductions, and allowances, ensuring complete and accurate information by using accepted verification methods and 3rd party verification.
- Screen new residents in line with program policies, perform background checks, and enter into lease contracts.
- Calculate and collect rent and security deposits, recording payments in THA's systems.
- Perform move-in and move-out inspections, orient new residents, review lease requirements and operating procedures, accompany tenants to units to offer units, and follow up as needed
- Handle property maintenance such as ordering repairs and inspecting the building's condition.
- Conduct home visits and property site walks to assess tenant housekeeping and other abilities.
- Assist residents in accessing social services, including working closely with Client Support and Empowerment (CSE) staff to engage and assist families at risk for eviction and other lease violations.
- Maintain knowledge of federal housing regulations, including Section 8, Section 8 Voucher programs, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, and the Family Self-Sufficiency program.

Who You Are:
- Associate's degree required; directly relevant experience may substitute for degree.
- 2 or more years' property management work experience, preferably in affordable housing, tax credit properties.
- Housing experience preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and auto insurance.
- Thorough knowledge of federal conventional and leased housing regulations.
- Knowledge of procedures and practices pertaining to the selection process, eligibility criteria, rental and income limitations contained in assisted housing programs, preferred.
