Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of an 84-unit multi-family property in New Windsor, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a thriving community with a focus on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring full occupancy and smooth management of all activities.
- Manage LIHTC compliance, including timely and accurate annual recertifications.
- Supervise the onsite maintenance superintendent and ensure all maintenance needs are handled efficiently.
- Prepare and submit required State and County reports, maintaining compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere by maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction.
- Implement operational best practices to drive property performance and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Previous property management experience is required; experience managing LIHTC properties is strongly preferred.
- In-depth understanding of LIHTC regulations, compliance requirements, and annual recertifications.
- Familiarity with AppFolio property management software is a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
