Pay Range: $109,000/Annually Plus On-Target Bonus
Pay Frequency: Biweekly
Position Hours: 40 Hours/Week
FLSA: Exempt
PURE is seeking a strong Property Management Operations Manager to lead our Los Angeles, CA office. The role requires working at the office location. Previous management experience with teams, strong knowledge of CA landlord/tenant law, lease agreements, and security deposit disposition process are required.
The Operations Manager is fully accountable for all office operations. The purpose of this role is to effectively manage and coordinate personnel, activities, and resources to meet property objectives set by the Broker and property owner. The Operations Manager will participate in strategy creation, operational procedures, and policy development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all business conducted complies with company policies, state and federal laws including Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and real estate licensing regulations.
- Recruit, train, and conduct performance appraisals for team members.
- Serve as Hiring Manager when needed.
- Implement and enforce company policies within the property management team.
- Collaborate with the Broker on marketing procedures and portfolio growth strategies.
- Assist in achieving growth and profit goals.
- Maintain quality assurance standards through proper procedures and documentation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners.
- Monitor and control costs across property portfolios.
- Ensure effective communication and organizational coordination.
- Oversee administrative practices like scheduling, contracting, and record-keeping, recommending improvements as needed.
- Monitor financial information for accuracy and compliance.
- Review reports, resolve issues, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Address business and personnel issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop reports for the Broker and maintain sound business relations.
- Supervise property inspections and documentation.
- Stay informed on industry trends, legal, and regulatory changes.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings and provide coverage for staff absences.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support company interests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of Residential Property Management experience
- 5 years of supervisory experience
- Active CA Real Estate License
- Experience with Property Management Systems is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree
