Property Management Assistant / Tenant Service Coordinator

Owner/Developer of a large-scale Manhattan market rate multi-family portfolio is looking for a Property Management Assistant to join their team. In this role, the Assistant will work with the teams to manage portfolio wide property operations. Candidates should possess approximately 2 years experience in property management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Property Management team and tenants as needed.
  • Maintain and update employee, clients, and customer contact databases.
  • Update and file all documents for vendors and customers and ensure that contract and lease administration files are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure that certificates of insurance (COI) for contractors and vendors are accurate and in compliance.
  • Document incidents of potential liability to property and equipment and forwards information to appropriate management personnel.
  • Develop, maintain, and coordinate implementation of property manuals within the portfolio.
  • Perform AP/AR bookkeeping and obtain completed W-9 forms from all vendors when needed.

Skills:

  • 1-3 years of real estate property management experience.
  • MRI or other real estate software experience.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak effectively before small groups of tenants or employees.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of the team.

Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000, plus bonus, comprehensive health benefits, and other valuable perks.
