The Keller Group is partnering with a nationally recognized organization to recruit a Property Director for its flagship property in the DMV. This premier destination blends upscale dining, hospitality, wellness, entertainment, and lifestyle experiences—drawing both regional visitors and national attention.

As Property Director, you'll be the strategic and operational anchor—leading performance, shaping culture, and ensuring the property delivers at the highest levels of financial results, operational excellence, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the property team in executing strategic initiatives, including long-range planning, annual business plans, revenue programs, and partnership opportunities.
  • Guide the evaluation and implementation of property and destination development, enhancement, and capital improvement projects.
  • Ensure all initiatives are grounded in measurable objectives, clear KPIs, and a focus on driving long-term value and performance.
Financial & Business Performance
  • Drive overall financial success by supporting leasing efforts, maximizing revenue generation, and controlling operating expenses.
  • Oversee property forecasts, working closely with Leasing, Asset Management, and Business Development, to address variances and identify opportunities.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal teams on collections, tenant accounts, and compliance issues, recommending appropriate action when necessary.
Operations & Risk Management
  • Direct and support the Operations Manager and contracted service providers to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.
  • Preserve the long-term value of the property by ensuring facilities are well-maintained and assets protected.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor an Emergency Response Plan and risk management practices tailored to the property.
  • Analyze incident reports and implement proactive measures to reduce risk and liability.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, government agencies, law enforcement, and community partners.
  • Leverage community feedback to guide events, partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen the property's local presence and align with corporate brand values.
  • Support corporate cause marketing and business development programs, while fostering collaborations with local non-profits to advance community and company objectives.
Team Development & Culture
  • Provide clear direction and supporting coaching, holding the team accountable while helping each member grow and thrive.
  • Encourage open communications, teamwork, and professional growth, empowering team members to contribute their best work.

Property Director Qualifications
  • Extensive Leadership Experience: 8-10+ years leading property, hospitality, or mixed-use assets, with a track record of managing high-profile and complex environments.
  • Luxury and elevated service expertise: Skilled in overseeing properties that cater to discerning clientele and maintaining exceptional service standards.
  • Proven operational leadership: Experienced in guiding diverse, guest-facing teams to deliver excellence while fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Strong financial and strategic acumen: Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and optimizing asset performance.
  • Personable and confident communicator: Calm, approachable, and effective in building relationships with internal teams, guests, and complex stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive vendor and project oversight: Capable of managing vendor partnerships, technical systems, and capital improvement initiatives with efficiency and attention to quality.
