• Full cycle accounting and month-end close for multiple marina properties
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Prepare monthly recurring journal entries
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with the operations team, including marina management, to prepare accurate and timely financial information, including budget to actual analyses
• Present month-end results and budget to actual results to operations team
• Assist in quarter and year-end financial reporting
• Assist auditors with financial audits. Answer questions, review processes and gather required data for auditors
• Ensure procedures/controls are in place and working appropriately to safeguard company's assets
• Assist FP&A in forward-looking projections
• Ad hoc projects as needed

Essential Duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with an emphasis in accounting
• CPA or MBA (preferred)
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Familiarity with US GAAP and internal controls
• Self-starter, high-energy, eager to learn and grow
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must possess excellent organizational skills
• Willing to work additional hours when necessary
• Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
