Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Proofreader to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of our content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of language, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. This role involves reviewing and editing documents to ensure alignment with brand tone and guidelines, collaborating with creative teams, and meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all written content meets established standards of quality and brand guidelines.
  • Proofread and edit documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, tone, and consistency.
  • Suggest and implement corrections to improve clarity and readability.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and creative team members to ensure content accuracy.
  • Maintain high attention to detail across multiple projects and formats.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Meet deadlines under tight timelines without compromising quality.
Required Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Acrobat and InDesign).
  • Exceptional attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with tools that support the Quality Assurance process.
  • Experience working with online interactive products at creative agencies.
  • Prior experience in the financial services sector.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, dynamic environment under aggressive deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Transparency: Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $69,058 to $96,287/year. This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full-time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
