Projects/Research Coordinator - Student Assistant Specialist - The New School : Job Details

The Platform Cooperativism Consortium seek a talented and organized projects coordinator to assist with an array of tasks. This student worker must qualify for a Federal Work Study award. The coordinator reports to the Assistant Director and the Director of the Consortium.

This position is a great way to learn more about platform cooperativism, the politics of digital culture, and the major players and organizations working to make a difference in these fields. This role also allows for connecting with PCC's global network, and possible rehiring in the coming semesters.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with various organizational tasks and administrative/office needs in coordination with the Assistant Director;

* Conduct research projects, organize materials for online resource hubs, and coordinate other special projects as directed by Prof. Trebor Scholz

* As needed, communicate and liaise with important external partners of the Kit and Consortium;

* Participate in meetings or calls or events pertaining to the Platform Co-op Development Kit;
