Project Superintendent - Hensel Phelps Construction Company : Job Details

The Project Superintendent (PS) is responsible for managing the construction process for the project. They are assigned the authority to provide daily coordination and direction of the placement of work so that it is safe, within budget, on schedule, to the company's quality standards and to the customer's satisfaction. They are responsible for planning and scheduling activities, organizing trade partners and suppliers, deploying site equipment and interfacing with regulatory authorities. The PS will manage and coordinate the activities of a team of construction professionals consisting of area superintendents, field engineers, quality and safety personnel, craft, and trade partner representatives. This is a safety sensitive position. Position Qualifications: A 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management. Minimum of 7-8 years' experience on large commercial construction projects. Valid Driver's License. Strong communication skills.
