Job Description :

Tremco Incorporated is a leading manufacturer of products for the construction and new building maintenance markets, and a fast-growing division of RPM. Our Weatherproofing Technologies Division currently seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in managing and supervising commercial construction projects to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Jobsite safety management
  • Resolving project issues and problems
  • Scheduling and coordinating between subcontractors and owner operations
  • Ensuring quality and adherence to specifications according to Tremco standards
  • Managing project costs and generating status reports
  • Ensuring owner satisfaction
  • This role requires 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction or 5 years as a foreman. Candidates must be capable of maintaining project records, interfacing with owners, subcontractors, and company management. Travel is also required.

    Additional duties include participating in the development and enforcement of jobsite safety plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and supporting sales efforts. Responsibilities also extend to Sales & Service Support, Field Resource & Customer Management communication as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • Core understanding of general building standards, scheduling, and shop drawing review
    • OSHA 10 Hour Certification
    • Deep understanding of construction management tasks and superintendent responsibilities
    • Excellent written, oral, and digital communication skills
    • Ability to create performance reports

    Computer literacy: Email, web, MS Word, MS Excel

    Compensation: The hourly rate generally ranges between $20 and $33, based on qualifications, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
