Job Title: Project Superintendent
Pay Rate: Up to $48.00/hr
Location: Hermitage, PA
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee on-site activities for general construction projects ranging in size from $10 million to $50 million. Their company, founded in 1977, is a dynamic real estate investment, development, and construction company located in Western Pennsylvania.

You will join a team of dedicated estimators, project managers, fellow superintendents, construction managers, and other team members who strive to provide exemplary service to their clients.
This role includes a company-provided vehicle, laptop, cell phone, and gas card for business use.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily on-site construction activities
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to maintain workflow and progress
- Conduct regular site meetings and prepare progress reports for stakeholders
- Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure proper execution
- Anticipate and resolve field-related issues in real time to avoid delays
- Lead by example with strong safety practices and promote a positive job-site culture
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align field operations with overall project goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in general construction
- Strong hands-on background in carpentry or other skilled trades preferred, with the ability to mentor and communicate effectively with tradespeople
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with project management software such as ProCore
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors, team members, and clients
- A proactive problem solver with a focus on quality and safety
- Travel will be required within Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio
