Job Summary:

The Operations Liaison will serve as the primary bridge between Biologics Manufacturing and key support functions, including Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance. This individual will manage core business systems, support strategic initiatives, and ensure manufacturing operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with cGMP regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary liaison between Biologics Manufacturing and cross-functional teams (Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Finance).
  • Manage business systems and operational processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support capacity planning and material flow scheduling across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Lead cost optimization initiatives and maintain real-time performance metric dashboards.
  • Provide strategic support to the Executive Leadership Team for budgeting and program planning.
  • Participate in management committees and supply chain review processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Investigate and correct deviations related to safety standards.
  • Support cGMP compliance across operations.
  • Participate in onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Serve as a change agent to drive continuous improvement and strategic growth.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant discipline with 3–5 years of experience.
  • Technical BS degree with proven business/analytical acumen will be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and delivering oral presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP/Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems, scheduling, cGMP, and data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, field-oriented approach to addressing challenges.
  • Ability to analyze issues from multiple perspectives: safety, compliance, maintenance, automation, equipment, process, and people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong self-driven work ethic with effective time management and team collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in business systems or operational environments.
  • Able to collaborate transversally across departments and influence without direct authority.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to act as the voice of the biologics team and drive business forward.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background in:
  • Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • Passion for working in an organization that saves and improves lives.
  • Interest in a diverse, dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, science, engineering, or military service.
