Project Scheduler

Job Responsibilities:
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed schedules that support the successful delivery of back-office software solutions. This role ensures that all phases of the project are clearly defined, resources are effectively managed, and progress is tracked and communicated to stakeholders.
Schedule Development: Create comprehensive project schedules that outline tasks, timelines, and dependencies. Determine the sequence of activities, work breakdown structures, and set start and end dates for each phase.
Resource Management: Ensure effective allocation of resources including personnel, equipment, and materials throughout the project lifecycle.
Progress Tracking: Monitor actual progress against the planned schedule, identify deviations or delays, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions.
Risk Management: Identify potential schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
Communication: Keep all project stakeholders informed of progress, potential issues, and necessary adjustments to the schedule through regular updates and reports.
Schedule Maintenance: Regularly update and revise schedules to reflect changes, delays, or new information, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Analysis and Reporting: Analyze project data to assess performance, generate insights, and identify areas for improvement. Provide clear and actionable reports to leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in software development or mobility-related sectors.
Proficiency in scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6 (a plus), or Smartsheet.
Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid development methodologies.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with mobility platforms or back-office software systems.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other project tracking tools.
PMI-SP or PMP certification is a plus.
Education & Experience:
Graduate in Technology / Management.
