Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Scheduler located in San Diego, CA. The Project Scheduler will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely project completion, monitoring project progress, and identifying potential delays. This role involves regular communication with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Experienced construction project scheduler 10+ years preferred.
  • Development of CPM baseline project schedules in P6.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders
  • Tailor work breakdown structures to the project to allow ease of tracking and ensuring an organized and cohesive format.
  • Perform monthly project schedule updates inputting real time data provided by project teams and brining the updated schedule forward.
  • Maintain well documented database of project schedules, that is organized by type and size of project for historical data and forward templating.
  • Ensure all projects are logic driven and work to minimize unnecessary constraints in schedules to allow to the logic calculation to drive the critical path and then evaluate data based on input and react accordingly.
  • Time impact analysis of critical change requests that impact the overall duration of the projects.
  • Evaluating performance of he projects and addressing options for acceleration based on key players who make a critical path impact.
  • Keeping project stakeholders informed with monthly project updates.
  • Capturing project delays or impacts to the project and inputting in the schedule to assist in “telling the story” and pushing logic thru the schedule from start to finish.
  • Coordinating project schedules with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience in construction or related industries is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA
