Join our dynamic team as a Project Scheduler, where your expertise in developing and maintaining project schedules will be crucial to our success! In this role, you will collaborate with program management, technical teams, and finance to ensure seamless integration of schedules, resource allocation, and milestone tracking. Your analytical skills will support effective planning, performance tracking, and reporting, aligning with both internal standards and customer expectations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Assist in the creation and upkeep of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using data from SAP and other systems.
- Oversee daily resource management by generating assignment printouts for technicians and other personnel.
- Maintain project baseline schedules, monitoring performance against key milestones.
- Analyze project progress to identify potential scheduling risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate across program management, technical teams, and finance to ensure schedules align with project objectives, budgets, and forecasts.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly status reports utilizing schedule data and insight.
- Ensure compliance of all project schedules with internal standards and customer reporting requirements.
- Provide valuable schedule-related input for cost estimation, risk management, and resource planning teams.
- Track actuals against planned activities and update forecasts as necessary.
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field and 8-12 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring for complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and key performance indicators to achieve project requirements.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, including cost, schedule, and risk analysis.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present performance updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Experience in coordinating across functional areas (technical, finance, contracts) for schedule and cost alignment.
- Understanding of contract management processes and experience with compliance management of contract terms and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional), or similar.
- Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge in risk management, including risk identification, impact analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Experience in stakeholder management, fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and customer representatives.
- Background in resource planning and change management to adapt to evolving program needs.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance-based reporting.
- Ability to lead or mentor project team members, including junior staff and cross-functional contributors.

Pay Range: Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
