About the Role:
The company is actively seeking a highly motivated Project Scheduler to work on a major airport construction project in New York City. This project is a large-scale infrastructure development focused on modernizing airport facilities, improving passenger experience, and enhancing operational efficiency.
As a Project Scheduler, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing scheduling for two (2) facility projects within the airport development. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction scheduling, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the scheduling of two major airport facility projects.
- Perform schedule reviews and prepare bi-weekly and monthly schedule update analysis reports.
- Conduct progress reviews, including:
- Schedule Logic & Sequencing
- Float Analysis & Constraints Review
- Cost, Resources, and Earned Value Assessment
- Critical & Near-Critical Path Evaluation
- Analyze schedule impacts and recommend corrective action plans to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
- Develop, update, and maintain cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor and report schedule status to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Present project updates in meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Develop “What-If” scenarios, mitigation schedules, look-ahead schedules, and time impact analysis.
- Conduct delay analysis and evaluate claims related to project schedule impacts.
- Identify scheduling risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong Time Impact Analysis (TIA) expertise.
- Experience in institutional and large-scale infrastructure construction, preferably in airport or transportation facility projects.
- Deep understanding of vertical construction processes, methods, and best practices.
- Ability to conduct regular on-site walkthroughs and communicate project details effectively.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Extensive experience in CPM scheduling, resource loading, and earned value analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple project schedules and provide strategic oversight.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 10 - 15 years of experience in planning, scheduling, and project controls.
- Prior experience working with owners, contractors, and consultants on large-scale construction projects.
- Field experience is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000 - $166,400 per year
