• Simultaneously manages tasks within several projects/work streams across department teams, leading the identification and resolution of risks/issues, resolves within authority, and escalates in timely and appropriate manner.
• Plans team members work assignments, monitors risk and status, facilitates collaboration across departments, communicates relevant information with stakeholders. Meets delivery commitments and produces high quality work products with adherence to SDLC protocols.
• Prepares realistic estimates of the time and resources needed for completing work, creates and executes project plans, regularly monitors project performance against plan and addresses any variances.
• Proactively engages with stakeholders to manage expectations and keep them apprised of project status. Assists in prioritization across initiatives, enhancements, and support activities.
• Facilitates the detailed design and development activities for entire applications and assesses impact of recommendations against project timelines, technical debt cost and escalates as appropriate.
• Manages issue triage, assignment, and resolution, facilitates meetings and activities, ensures proper communication.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, overall design of data, best practices, innovation, designs, and processes.
• Supports continuous improvement by identifying and proposing tuning opportunities and opportunities to increase efficiency, quality, and speed to market.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication skills by effectively translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership
• All other projects and duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively work well with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise.
• Possesses excellent communication skills.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, Project Management, Agile, and Software Delivery
• Exhibits strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Demonstrates self-motivation to learn new concepts and skills.
• Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate to different audiences to ensure common understanding.
• Moderate technical domain proficiency
• Knowledge of Insurance Industry a plus
• PMP, Product Owner, or Scrum Master Certification a plus
• College degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required.
