Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm with over 33 years of experience, is seeking a full-time Project Officer Level II with construction experience in the New York, NY area.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience as a project manager in construction, with at least 2 years managing all phases of similar scale projects, and resides in or near New York, NY.

Candidates must provide digital proof of licensure and certification for all U.S.-based credentials, including academic degrees, before the interview. All information is handled with discretion.

This position is full-time and on-site in New York, NY.

Responsibilities Include
  • Coordinate activities for design and construction of complex projects under senior supervision.
  • Ensure quality, standards, and compliance in design and construction.
  • Make timely decisions to ensure project completion.
  • Address mistakes early in the process.
Additional Duties
  • Manage project scheduling and phasing.
  • Coordinate with contractors, school personnel, and senior staff.
  • Review and recommend project procedures and policies.
  • Guide lower-level Project Officers.
  • Resolve field issues with architects and inspectors.
  • Work with architects on change orders and technical matters.
  • Enforce contract compliance and advise on contractual issues.
  • Make on-site change order decisions and negotiate with contractors.
  • Review claims and disputes, and document accordingly.
  • Visit job sites as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in construction or design, with 2 years managing all project phases.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat); experience with Bluebeam, Procore preferred.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Willing to travel across New York, NY; valid driver's license required.
