OVERVIEW
Merrick & Company is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Project Manager position in our Water and Wastewater practice in our Denver, Greenwood Village, Colorado Springs, or Loveland, Colorado offices. This position requires an experienced project manager with a successful track record in winning and delivering projects. Part-time schedules may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Typical salary range for this position is $125,000 - $162,000. Base pay may vary depending on experience and skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on water and wastewater projects.
- Contribute to strategic planning, growth, project delivery, staffing, and financial performance.
- Apply Merrick's policies and procedures on assignments.
- Work closely with clients to define and deliver scope of work.
- Prepare and oversee fee proposals for water and wastewater design work.
- Lead design teams, perform planning and design tasks, review designs, and manage project delivery.
- Exercise initiative and judgment appropriate to the role.
- Maintain strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively with clients and community members.
- Some travel may be required.
The Successful Candidate shall:
- Have experience and knowledge in water treatment, conveyance, wastewater treatment, and infrastructure, with familiarity with regulations and some construction observation experience.
- Proven success in business development, project management, and managing schedules and budgets for complex civil engineering projects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Possess a valid drivers license, a good driving record, and be insurable.
- Be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school.
- PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months.
- Significant experience in infrastructure engineering and project management.
- Strong technical design skills in water and wastewater projects.
- Proven project delivery success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and insurability.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters degree in engineering preferred.
