Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Project Manager- Rail Systems to be based in New York, New York area working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group.Job Responsibilities include:Perform project management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro areaResponsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policiesResponsible for administering the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurementManage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgetsCoordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projectsAbility to coordinate closely with clients, contractors and project partnersProject types includes Design-Build, Development of Bridging Documents and Design-Bid-BuildQualifications:QualificationsMinimum Requirements:BA/BS + 6 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Requirements :10 Years of Experience with NY metro rail agencies including MTA, PANYNJ and NJ TransitProfessional Engineer LicenseExcellent written and verbal communications skills5 Years of Experience in Design Project Management RoleExperience with coordinating systems designAdditional InformationRelocation is not available for this position.Sponsorship is not available for this position.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
