Job Title: Project Manager – Small Cell

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) – Also open to candidates in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX

Experience: 5+ Years

Number of Positions: 1

Work Type: Hybrid

Work Time Zone: EST (GMT -0400)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Travel: Less than 10% (occasional customer meetings or field visits)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of telecom or infrastructure projects. This role focuses on managing small cell deployment projects while ensuring high-quality execution, customer satisfaction, and financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all assigned projects with a focus on timelines, budgets, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate deliverables and requirements across a diverse cross-functional project team.
  • Ensure all projects meet contractual obligations, compliance standards, and company policies.
  • Attend deployment customer meetings as the SME for the organization.
  • Maintain accurate project data in company and customer systems.
  • Monitor and report project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Resolve conflicts, manage dependencies, and control scope changes.
  • Lead risk mitigation efforts and ensure smooth execution.
  • Drive financial accountability and track all project-related costs.

Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP Certification preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing project budgets and working with large data sets in MS Excel.
  • Customer-facing project management experience preferred.
  • Telecom/construction experience (Telco, power, fiber, antennas) a plus, but not mandatory.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of public right-of-way project deployment.
  • Ability to identify workflow issues, critical paths, and implement solutions.
  • Financial acumen to interpret metrics and resolve budget issues.
