Base pay range

$155,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

The Project Manager (OGS) - Construction - Manhattan, NY will serve as the on-site leader, managing all aspects of OGS and public works construction operations to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality. This role is pivotal in coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and project teams to meet project goals and uphold the company's reputation for excellence. Description

• Lead and manage public construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Coordinate with OGS, DASNY, and other public agencies to ensure project alignment with agency goals and compliance requirements.
• Oversee project scheduling, procurement, logistics, and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, permits, and compliance reports.
• Monitor budgets, change orders, and financial performance.
• Conduct regular site visits and project health assessments.
• Facilitate project meetings with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain strong communication with agency representatives and internal teams.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably with public sector projects.
• Prior experience with DASNY, OGS, SCA, DEP, or similar agencies is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Job Order Contracting (JOC) and public procurement processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
• Ability to manage multiple projects across various locations.
• PMP or CCM certification
• Experience with LEED or sustainable building practices.
• Knowledge of New York State building codes and public construction regulations.
